Kowloon Improvements
The Governor recommended the Council to vote a sum of one thousand five hun-
dred dollars ($1,500) in aid of the vote Public Works. Extraordinary, Kowloon, Communications, Roads, General Works.

Upkeep of Plants
The Governor recommended the Council to vote a sum of six thousand dollars ($6,000) in aid of the vote Public Works, Recurrent, Hongkong, Miscellaneous,. upkeep of plant.

Relief of Destitutes
The Governor recommended the Council to vote a sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000 'n aid of the vote charitable ser- vices, passages and relief of destitutes.

Educational
The Governor recommended the Council to vote a sum of two thousand two hun- dred dollars ($2,200) in aid of Education, Special Expenditure, 4. Department of Director of Education, Ellis Kadoorie School for Indians, furniture.

Prison Charges
The Governor recommended the Council to. vote a sum of one thousand four hun- dred and fifty dollars ($1,450) in aid of Police and Prison Departments, Prison, other charges, night-soil buckets.
